More About Florham Park

Florham Park is a small suburban community located in Morris County. The town provides a friendly and neighborly atmosphere while also supporting an expanding business center, which contains restaurants, banks, supermarkets, and retail establishments. Florham Park was recently voted the Best Place to Live in New Jersey, by New Jersey Monthly, for its excellent school system, convenient location in proximity to New York City and its sociable atmosphere. It is also home to the state of the art New York Jets training facility, which the local NFL team uses for off-season practices and the like.

Town History

Florham Park was first settled in the late 1600s as a farming community, then in 1817 saw a great population increase with the arrivals of new industries such as whiskey, bricks and brooms. The Little Red Schoolhouse, the official emblem of the borough, still stands in town and is now a museum open to the public as a monument to the towns rich history and solid foundation of civic values such as education and community involvement.
